Sauti is a five-year HIV/AIDS reduction program targeting the under-fulfilled need in key vulnerable populations, such as female sex workers and men who have sex with other men. Sauti operates in 11 regions and 32 districts throughout Tanzania, while PHSRF focuses on efforts in the Kinondoni district in Dar es Salaam. PHSRF conducts community mapping of hotspots, partners, and resources and delivers community-based behavioral change education. In addition, PHSRF provides biomedical, social behavior change communication, and economic strengthening services. PHSRF supports HIV+ and genderbased violence survivors, ensuring that they can access care and treatment clinics, along with social, legal, and medical services. PHSRF works in tandem with government ministries, Sauti implementation partner Jhpiego, and Sauti partners EngenderHealth, Pact, and Mwanza.
